The research project of “Identification of Kerman Province Fishes" was carried out from 1996 to 1997. In this study, the fishes of the main rivers of this province, namely: Baft, Soltani, Halil-rood, Delfa-rood, Seyyed-Morteza, Rabor, Roodbar and Halil-kouchak were identified.
During one year sampling from above mentioned rivers, a total or 771 samples were collected which they belong to 2 orders, 3 families and 7 species. The identification fishes were: Capoeta damascina, Cyprinion watsoni, Garra persica, Carassius auratus, Cyprinus carpio from CYPRINIDAE family. Nemacheilus sargadensis from COBITIDAE family and Channa gachua from CHANNIDAE family.
