In the important journey of the field of migration studies has advanced on many of the topics that have been the subject of their inquiries. However, it is also necessary to point out that production has certain imbalances. In effect, scientific production with an "objectivist" orientation continues to be more profuse than "subjectivist"; even when the latter is increasingly important. In fact, this has translated into that we still know little, in comparative terms, about what happens within the subjectivity of the migrant actor (Halfacree, 2004, Arango, 1985). If we still refine the gaze even more, what we know about the way in which the migrant subject is linked to space, the mechanisms by which it incorporates it, interprets it, gives it value and meaning, etc.it is still a field of study in training, both theoretical and methodological. The present work aims to contribute to cover part of this vacancy from the theoretical conceptual but taking as a starting point the research conducted on the case of Bolivian migrants from the highlands of peasant origin to the province of Tucumán, Argentina. The concepts of "migratory culture", "place" and "migratory territory" are analyzed and related. Finally, the paper proposes some methodological guidelines for addressing these topics.
