In the last decades the Network has provoked deep changes on our understanding of information, communication and, by extension, of politics, economy, society and the broad concept of culture. These changes have been caused by the way we act through ICT, which is interactive, collaborative, participatory and non-hierarchical. Until now, these behaviors were only associated to the virtual world, but currently there are groups clustered in specific locations that manage them in way very similar to that learned on the web. These experiences illustrate the concept of localized culture, analysed in this paper through the case study of the Self-Managed Community Center Tobacco Factory in Madrid.
