The Concept of (Social) Space in the Theory of Karl Marx

The article is an attempt to extract from the theory of Karl Marx's concept of space as a social product. Based on a critical analysis of his texts, it was found that Marx understands the social space in the first volume of «Capital» as a place of production-reproduction of social relations of production. Moreover, on the basis of the retrospective reference to the early works of Marx author shows that Marx thought out and explore the epistemological principle of space - unlocking the wealth of human and physical characteristics of the last of the narrow confines of theoretical abstractions.
