The article discusses the unique in the history of ancient Russia case - direct contact GaLician-Volyn Prince Daniel Romanovich with the Knights of the Order of the Knights Templar. The author reconstructs the story of the reconquest of the city Drogichin by Prince Daniel. It is established that the original single story about the event in the GaLicia-VoLyn chronicLe was divided into pieces and pLaced in different pLaces. This occurred as a result of moving the sheetswhen rewriting the code.When restoring a single text story it appears that the city was recaptured from the Knights Templar.
