ABOUT APPLIED OCEAN RESEARCH

The aim of Applied Ocean Research is to encourage the submission of papers that advance the state of knowledge in a range of topics relevant to ocean engineering. These topics include: Wave mechanics; fluid-structure interaction; structural dynamics; hydrodynamics; floating and moored system dynamics; structural mechanics; sea bed geophysics, soil mechanics and sedimentology; cable and riser mechanics and vortex-induced vibration; stochastic processes; safety and risk analysis; structural integrity and fatigue; safety and reliability; design of offshore structures; submarine pipeline design; ocean towing and installation; hydroelasticity; subsea engineering; control and application of remotely-operated vehicles and subsea intervention; ocean energy systems.
