ABOUT KAD

Kültür Araştırmaları Dergisi (Journal of Cultural Studies) is a scholarly periodical journal which has started its publication life in Turkey in December 2018 and published twice a year in six months in June and December and includes papers such as research articles, translations, critiques which are about cultural science branches as, folklore, language, history, literature, anthropology, history of religions. The second issue of the journal which prepared by a group of academics belonging various field of social sciences is published on 17th of June 2019 and like its first issue it is also in open access at Turkey’s academic publishing platform, named “dergipark” with https://dergipark.org.tr/kulturder web adress. In the first issue of December 2018 it was published with 8 research and 1 compilation articles; and 17th of June 2019 it has published as the second issue with 12 researches and 2 translate articles. We are aiming as Kültür Araştırmaları Dergisi (Journal of Cultural Studies) that; discussing current knowledges and findings related to the subjects of the field of the cultural sciences; to contribute to the increase of national and international scientific recognition; to be a qualified academic publication platform in accordance with scientific and ethical principles with the focus of academicians, researchers and graduate students. In this context we want to apply for scanning by your index. We foresee that our journal, which we can undertake that a very rigorous group work is being done both in the refereeing stages and in the editorial preparation of accepted publications, will make significant contributions to international academic publishing..
