Protection of Intellectual Property is one of the primary agendas of any reviewer/referee. Publication Frequency Journal items can be published collectively, as part of an issue with its own Table of Contents. Alternatively, individual items can be published as soon as they are ready, by adding them to the "current" volume's Table of Contents. this journal will use and its expected frequency of publication. Open Access Policy This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Open access publishing also provides access to research results to researchers worldwide, including those from developing countries and to an interested general public. Peer-reviewed literature is freely available without subscription or price barriers. Literature is immediately released in open access format (no embargo period). Published material can be re-used without obtaining permission as long as a correct citation to the original publication is given. The Higher Citation Impact of open access articles results from their high publicity and availability. Open access publications are demonstrably more frequently cited. Archiving This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More... Publication Ethics Ethical standards for publication exist to ensure high-quality scientific publications, public trust in scientific findings, and that people receive credit for their ideas. IJCT is committed to peer review integrity and practices the highest standards of ethical publishing. IJCT publication ethics encourages integrity in research and peer review process and prohibit any malpractices regarding publication. Plagiarism Use of another person’s ideas, language, graphs, pictures, results and experiments without giving credit to them. Without citing the source, copying even a single sentence from your own or another person’s research paper leaded to plagiarism. IJCT is committed to publishing only original material, i.e., material that has neither been published elsewhere, nor is under review elsewhere. Manuscripts that are found to have been plagiarized from a manuscript by other authors, whether published or unpublished, will incur plagiarism sanctions. Duplicate/ Concurrent Submission It is submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time. It is a waste of time of editors and peer reviewers, and can also damage the reputation of journals if published in more than a place. Manuscripts that are found to have been published elsewhere, or to be under review elsewhere, will incur duplicate submission/publication sanctions. If authors have used their own previously published work, or work that is currently under review, as the basis for a submitted manuscript, they are required to cite the previous work and indicate how their submitted manuscript offers novel contributions beyond those of the previous work. Citation Manipulation Citing irrelevant articles that don’t contribute to content of manuscript is a kind of scientific misconduct. Submitted manuscripts that are found to include citations whose primary purpose is to increase the number of citations to a given author’s work, or to articles published in a particular journal, will incur citation manipulation sanctions. Data Fabrication and Falsification Making up data or results and recording or reporting them is fabrication of data. Falsification of data is manipulating research materials, omitting/deletion/suppression of conflicting data without justification and this would cause mistrust and disgrace to scientific community. Submitted manuscripts that are found to have either fabricated or falsified experimental results, including the manipulation of images, will incur data fabrication and falsification sanctions. Improper Author Contribution or Attribution Including authors who have not contributed to the research in the manuscript and excluding authors who have contributed to the research is unacceptable author contribution. All listed authors must have made a significant scientific contribution to the research in the manuscript and approved all its claims. It is important to list everyone who made a significant scientific contribution to the research. Redundant Publications Redundant publications involve the inappropriate division of study outcomes into several articles. It primarily refers to publishing the same material/experiments more than once. Accountability- All authors whose names appear on the manuscript are equally held accountable for the content of a submitted manuscript or published paper. Sanctions In the event that there are documented violations of any of the above mentioned policies in any journal, regardless of whether or not the violations occurred in a journal published by CIR, the following sanctions will be applied: Immediate rejection of the infringing manuscript. Immediate rejection of every other manuscript submitted to any journal published by CIR by any of the authors of the infringing manuscript. Prohibition against all of the authors for any new submissions to any journal published by CIR, either individually or in combination with other authors of the infringing manuscript, as well as in combination with any other authors. This prohibition will be imposed for a minimum of 6-8 months. Prohibition against all of the authors from serving on the Editorial Board of any journal published by CIR. In cases where the violations of the above policies are found to be particularly egregious, the publisher reserves the right to impose additional sanctions beyond those described above.
