Debates in Education is a four-monthly magazine of the Graduate Program in Education at the Education Center of the Federal University of Alagoas, published exclusively online and with open access. The journal publishes unpublished works by Brazilian and foreign authors dealing with education, which may be theoretical essays, research results, debates and critical (theoretical-methodological) reviews of educational scientific literature, reports of experiences and reflections on the reality of local education, National and international. The magazine's main objective is to provide a rich space for debates between researchers and the community, contemplating the plurality of thoughts, themes, methodologies and styles present in the current educational scenario. The accepted types of work are as follows: Articles, Debates, Interviews, Reviews and Abstracts of Dissertations and Theses. The journal's numbers are not thematic, functioning in the form of a continuous flow of submission of articles related to the general theme of the educational field.
