The Yearbook's concept is — overall — appointed by its name. We would like to extend the content of the journal by broadly defined humanist studies — a direction which is essential in both the development of the methodological strategies and the broadening of the context of the studies in the field of Polish philology. In The Yearbook we would like to publish the most recent findings — above all else, we value originality and innovation. The scale of the forms of expression that we offer is as wide as possible, although typical of scholarly discourse: from in-depth analyses of single phenomena to brief syntheses, from first printings to reeditions, from reviews and reports to substantive corrections and polemics.
