he journal Educação Matemática Pesquisa, from the Graduate Studies Program in Mathematics Education of PUC-SP, of quarterly regularity, aims to constitute a space for scientific dissemination of the area, at the international level. For years it has been contributing to this goal and thus achieved international recognition. Being considered excellent in the educational area, it disseminates contemporary themes - present in recent national or international work calls and research agendas - besides bringing interesting and relevant new issues to the development of the area. The journal's editorial project prioritizes unpublished scientific articles in the area of Mathematics Education, particularly those related to the program's lines of research: Mathematics in the Curricular Structure and Teacher Training; History, Epistemology, and Didactics of Mathematics and also Information Technologies and Mathematics Didactics.
