The Latin American Journal of Nature Rights and Animal Law emerged in 2018 on the initiative of researchers who sought to continue the dissemination of knowledge from a perspective that transcends the hegemonic anthropocentric paradigm.
Nature rights, environmental ethics, animal studies and animal law constitute the Journal's editorial line, and any work submitted for publication must be unpublished in Brazil.
This journal is linked to the Brazilian Academy of Animal Law and Earth Sciences (ABDA) research group of the Law Program at Catholic University of Salvador.
