The Revista Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud UDES is the official publication of the Health Sciences' Department at the Universidad de Santander -UDES-, which publishes original research articles, literature reviews, systematic reviews, short communications, case reports, essays, letters to the Editor, and editorials. Research areas related to integral human health, infectious and non-communicable diseases, communication and speech outcomes, occupational performance, body movement, surgical medical processes, and community work, are included. Similarly, research in basic medical and biomedical sciences, biology, biochemistry, chemistry, genetics, physiology, pathology, microbiology and parasitology, among others, all of them linked to health issues, are included. Also, articles of industrial area, including topics related to advances in agricultural, food, and environmental biotechnology, which are related with health science, are included.
