Dear CiteFactor Officer,
A group of scholars in the management and organization field from Turkey who have salient experience and accumulation in publishing papers in international leading journals were considering for several years that there is a strong need for a high quality internationally recognized journal published from Tukey. I am so pleased to share with you that we had an opportunity to put this thought into practice a year ago with a new journal under the title of The Journal of Management and Organization Studies (JMOS). JMOS has taken place in the field as a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original theoretical and empirical research papers, which contributes to understanding different aspects of management in private and public organizations. Scope of the journal covers theoretical and empirical papers, case studies, and book reviews relating to various fields of management and organization including, but not limited to organization theory, strategic management, organizational behavior, international business, entrepreneurship, business history, and human resources management.
The journal is a platform for researchers from all around the world to publish their work in both English and Turkish. The journal particularly encourages the studies dealing with management and organization topics and themes in their national and regional contexts from different perspectives. All studies with different research approaches and methodologies are welcome for publication in JMOS.JMOS is published twice a year, in April and October.
The editor in chief of the JMOS is Hüseyin Leblebici from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. He is a leading management scholar, and currently also the editor of Journal of Professions and Organization (JPO) published by Oxford Academic. We have a dedicated editorial team consisting of prominent scholars from Turkey and around the world.
We know that there are many journals from Turkey publishing papers in management and organizational field. But JMOS is distinguished itself from other journals published from Turkey by its specializing in only management and organizational issues, its prioritizing quality and original contribution to the existing literature, and its heading towards the leading scholars across the world. Definitely, our aim is to make and keep JMOS as a high quality internationally recognized journal from Turkey. JMOS is supported and published by Beta Publishing Co., one of the leading and perhaps the most respected publishing company of Turkey. We believe, this ownership, management structure, and collaboration will ensure the strength and editorial independence of the journal
We would like to start a content partnership with CiteFactor to attract a wider international recognition. Being indexed by CiteFactor, we believe, JMOS will reach a broader and diverse reader and author combination. And, by inclusion of JMOS in CiteFactor databases, different partners and customers of CiteFactor will also benefit from the high quality research papers that JMOS aims to publish.
