Efimera Revista is an independent peer-reviewed research publication specializes on Live and Performance Art practices and research. Edited in Spanish the journal has the aims to offer a space for reflection and study of contemporary ephemeral practices by means of a continuous dialogue with other creative fields, thus offering an interdisciplinary approach.
The journal was founded in Madrid in 2010 as a printed publication that was distributed mainly in specialized bookstores. After developing this project for five years we are pleased to move into a new stage in which the journal becomes a digital publication. The contents are available online and in open access for all users allowing the publication to disseminate to other national and international research contexts. Nevertheless, on special occasions and in parallel to the digital version, special print editions may be published.
In this current digital edition Efímera Revista maintains the same structure based on four sections: Theoretical Research, Creation, Interview and Documents. Each issue addresses a single theme in order to expose different views, perspectives and opinions around an argument or general discussion. URL: http://www.efimerarevista.es
