The Revista Universidad de Guayaquil is one of the first open-access multidisciplinary academic journals in Ecuador that has been publishing scientific works since 1930 on a biannual basis. The journal is aimed at researchers, teachers, students, and the general public, available free of charge, without charge to the user or their institution, and without prior permission requested from the publisher or the author. It focuses on the dissemination of scientific works, advances in research, and development in different areas of science, such as health, biological sciences, technology, and humanities.
